Empty the list of recent documents






Windows Vista by default stores the list of recently opened files.

If you want to disable this feature for any security reasons.


How to remove and prevent the registration of these files:

1st option


Right-click Start and select Properties
On the Start Menu tab Uncheck the boxes in the Privacy section.

2nd option



Start Menu> Control Panel
Search for "Folder Options"

Check "Show hidden files and folders"

Uncheck "Hide extensions and file types known"
Uncheck "Hide protected file operating system (recommended)

Go to:
C/Users/"your name"/recent

Delete recent documents you want

Once this is done, I strongly check the boxes again.
