What is a plug-in ?



A plug-in is a hardware or software module for computer program that that a specific feature to a larger system. A plug-in allow to display different types of audio or video messages. In other words, a plug-in allows you to diversify extra capabilities of a program. By extending application, size of a software can be reduced. A plug-in is essential due to incompatibility of some software. Many software development use plug-ins to support programming languages.
