Windows password lost or forgotten

If in case you’ve lost or forgot your password to log to windows. For Windows 2000 or earlier version.
This can be done if you are the system administrator!

Note that it won't work for XP, Vista or Seven.

It is possible to reset the password by looking, from a DOS command, all files (including hidden files) with the extension *. PWL.

Then, at your own risk, delete the PWL file corresponding to the user with the following command:

DEL C:\*.pwl /S
