Flashing a Fonera 2200







Here are the steps for flashing your Fonera modem. First of all it is required to create a FON folderand unzip the following files init:

Download
http://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_0_2.exe


http://www.gargoyle-router.com/images/f

and

http://fonera.be/flash/FON2100-0711.ZIP

Install WinPcap_4_0_2.exe

Unzip fon-flash-windows.zip and FON2100-0711.ZIP

Run the executable flash-based, select " OpenWrt/Gargoyle " and kernel.lzma & rootfs.squashfs contents in FON2100-0711.ZIP

Connect the computer directly to the Fonera and start flashing
Turn on the Fonera (this only works during the first 2 seconds)

WAIT AT LEAST 20 MINUTES ... and do not stop the process until the confirmation window appears.
From there you can register your Fonera and link to your FON account.
