Disable storing of My Recent Documents








When you open a file, Windows Vista saves these files on a list and you can access all the recent files accessed earlier… this is like leaving a trace of which files you have used. Now to stop this option, follow the instructions below:



• Right click on ‘’Start or Windows Logo’’ on the taskbar then select ‘’Properties’’.
• On the ‘’Start Menu’’ tab then on ‘’Privacy’’.
• Uncheck ‘’Store and display a list of recently opened files’’
