Mobile lost or stolen? -Suggestion to freeze account and mobile


It may happen that you've lost your mobile phone in the tram or on your way home. Worst, you might even been robbed by a pickpocket during your shopping or any circumstances. It is recommended that you immediately called your customer service once you noticed the disappearance in order to prevent from bearing further trouble like receiving a huge phone bill at the end of the month or the robber can even use your mobile for misdeed.

It is also recommended that you keep the serial number of your mobile in an accessible place which might certainly help you in case of such circumstances. You can access to your serial number by presssing on *#06# on your mobile touch. Also in almost all mobile, the serial number should be displayed besides the battery of your mobile (See below image)



With the possession of your serial number, the operator of your dedicated network can block your mobile phone and reactivate same if you recover your mobile. The latter can even trace your mobile if same is acquainted with the General Packet Radio Service(GPRS).
