Installing Linux using your USB drive
UNetbootin
If it happens that you have to install linux on a machine and you dont have any CD or DVD to make an image but you have your USB flash drive.
The minimum USB Drive required to install linux is 1 GB or more.
So you can install any Linux distribution and even Windows distribution using UNetbootin, this a small software will make your USB flash drive bootable for any installation.

You will have to select the linux distribution you wish to install and browse the linux image on your pc then it will do the rest. Normally it will decompress the ISO image and will make your Drive Bootable!
