[Windows]Sharing Connection between all User accounts

In order to share an internet connection between all user accounts of a single computer (Windows XP and Vista), just create a new string value in the registry.
  • Before any manipulation in the registry, it is recommended to make a backup.
  • Open the Registry Editor.
  • Select the following key:

     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
  • In the right part, right click, then New, then String Value.
  • Give name KeepRasConnections. Double-clicking on it
  • Give it value 1.
  • Close the publisher of the registry and restart your PC.

These modifications will still be valid after restart of your system.
