How to automatically Log in?








Although this is not recommended (for security reasons), it is possible to ask Ubuntu to automatically login. This will avoid having to enter your username and password at startup.

Here's how:
  • Go to System> Administration> Login Window
  • Enter your password if requested.
  • Go to the Security tab and check "Enable automatic connection" and select the user to use.
  • Therefore you will not have to enter the username and password to login.
