- For those using DI-704P (rev.B) and DI-707P:
It might happen that while using Emule you receive a Low ID error message. This means one of the ports used by Emule is blocked and cannot be reached. A few reasons for this might be because you are behind a router, because of your firewall settings or because of some proxy servers. You must also check that the correct routers are open for Emule.
Emule makes use of three distinct ports:
- 4662 (TCP)
- 4672 (UDP)
- 4711 (TCP)
How to prevent getting LowID?
You should first open additional TCP ports between 4661 and 4665 and reduce the number of connections in Emule. Also try to get an alternative TCP Clientport 4662.
