Configure Orkut

The last link of the left side banner, 'settings', provides access to configuration options orkut:
The settings are divided into four tabs:

• General - here you select the language to be used in the interface of orkut. You can also choose to show or hide the updates from your friends, whether or not to activate the functions "photos and videos in your profile, to switch between standard and low speed of the interface ( everything depends on the speed of your Internet connection). Finally, you can delete your orkut account by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
• Privacy - here you define the rules of confidentiality should apply to various elements associated with your profile. It is possible to hide the updates yourself and consultations profile. You can also prevent your orkut information can be found via queries on www.google.fr. Finally, you manage permissions for your photos, videos, scrapbook, flow, testimonials and notes (everyone or just friends).
• Notifications - when certain events occur in your orkut account, you can be notified by email, message or notice.
• Google Talk - If you wish, you can integrate your orkut account to the client of Google Talk instant messaging (read more, see the help page http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/topic . py? topic = 10073). In this tab, you specify the method of selection of friends who can discuss with you Talk.
