Installation

No emulation or copying software

Check that one of the following software is not installed on the computer because recent installers verify their presence and refusing to settle or start if this is the case:

• Clone cd,
• Clone DVD
• Alcohol 120 °
• Daemon Tools

Minimum system requirements

Check first the minimum required on the back of the game box, and if your computer is powerful enough to run it.
You can check online

Latest version of DirectX

Verify that the latest version of DirectX is installed on the computer!
This version is normally present on the CD / DVD of your game

Latest graphics drivers

Check that the graphics drivers are update, they often improve the fluidity and graphics bugs.
They can be found on the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card, ATI, Nvidia and Intel.

Patches

If your game does not start; get patches that fix bugs and hardware incompatibilities.
They almost always solve problems, and can be found on the publisher's site (like Ubisoft or EA Games, for example).
