Problem

After the installation of antivirus "Antivir" you can not update it? Do not panic.

Problem: When you click "Start Update", nothing happens?

Cause: Improper uninstallation of Norton Antivirus software.

Solution

Download this file. ZIP: http://www.avira.com/documents/utils/tools/reg_appdata_winvista.zip
Save the compressed file on the desktop
Once downloaded, right click on the file> Extract All> Next> Next> Finish
Just run the file. REG obtained, and to accept the merger with the registry.

Open notepad and copy / paste this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell Folders]
"Common AppData"="C:\\ProgramData"

Click on File> Save As ...
In the file name, save Antivir.reg
In Type, select "All Files"
Click on Save.
Just run Antivir.reg and accept the merging with the registry.

Launch an updated version of Antivir.
