Why there is no smiley on Kioskea






The issue has already been discussed many times, and the answer is no.

kioskea.net team does not wish to establish smileys for discussions on the site, for the following reasons:
  • Insert graphical smileys would only make the pages heavier (and not everyone has broadband)
  • kioskea will become a mess.(just like your MSN, you know what I’m talking about)
  • The messages are intended to be understood by all users, that is why the texting and the smileys are not used.
  • If users do not want to load the images in their browser, it will be impossible to understand any message.
  • Simple smileys are still allowed.

:-), ;-), O:-)............etc
  • The simplicity of kioskea is a good thing that it should certainly not lose!
