Enabling Telnet on Vista
The telnet command under Windows Vista is by default disabled for security reasons. However, it is possible to reactivate easily.
Follow the steps below:
- Open Control Panel, then click on Programs and select Programs and Features.
- In the Tasks panel on the left, choose Enable or disable Windows features.
- In the list, check the Telnet Client.
