Parental Controls: Protect your children depending age






All Internet service providers offer parental control software for free. It usually works with 3 profiles:
  • Child (under 10). By choosing the profile "child", your child will sail in a closed environment, the so called "white list". It will only have access to a selection of sites (several thousand) to its corresponding pre-defined areas of interest.
  • Teens (over 11 years). By choosing the profile "young person", your child will have access to any Internet sites but illegal (racism, drugs ...) and inappropriate (pornography, violence ...) will be filtered through a blacklist.
  • Adult (parents)




NOTE:The parental control software can also block chat, forums, games prohibited to minors, video downloads, music (often illegal) and to limit the hours of Internet connection.
