Connection Problem

If you can't connect to the internet..
  • Re-install the modem driver.
  • Check the connections (phone jack, USB ...)
  • Try to leave just the phone jack from the slot, sometimes the metal blades (inside the male) do not contact when the plug is pressed fully.
  • Contact your ISP, the crash can also come from him.
  • Try the PC with the modem in another location (at a friend for example, to see if it does not matter).


If you are connected on lan:

- Click on Start
- Then on Run
- Type in: CMD
- On the command, type: Ipconfig /release
- Then type: Ipconfig /renew

This will renew your IP address...
