Creating transparent icons







Creating icons is not easy and most of the editing tools don't allow you to export in the .ico format. Fortunately, there are free tools simplifying the creation of icons!

IcoFX


IcoFX is a free icon editor. It can create, retrieve and edit icons. It works under XP and Vista with support for transparency.

It offers over 40 effects and can transform your photos into an icon. It can also extract icons contained in other files, such as in executable files.
