Searching video with VLC under Vista







Under Vista, VLC users cannot play video as image cannot be displayed.

Solution


In this tips, we will show you how to fix this problem:
  • Open VLC, go to Tools and select Preferences¯.
  • Expand the tree "Video" (click on the "+" in front)
  • Click on "Modules exit" without the development (not on the "+" this time)
  • Then select Advanced Options" at the bottom right
  • A button appears, preceded by the words "video output module"
  • Select "OpenGL video output" or "Windows GDI video output"
  • Click on save" to save all configuration.
  • Your images should now appear.
