How to clear history MSN Messenger?

It is possible to clear history of MSN Messenger conversations through many by deleting exchanged conversations with recipient or by erasing the history. For 2009 versions, below are some tips of how to proceed.

Clearing history for MSN Messenger

Under the history, you can however opt the delete the conversation of a specific recipient by right-click on contact and select View > Message History.

Once the History appears, select “Delete” in the toolbar of MSN Messenger.

Delete the complete history of the conversations in MSN Messenger

All your conversations are saved in a folder on your computer. It is set as default under My Documents> My Received Files.

Double click on the folder to access the complete history for your conversations. Select all the conversation in the file and right click to delete.

Uncheck the option "historical conversations"


If you do not want to keep the history of your conversations in MSN Messenger, you can uncheck this option. In the menu bar of the mail, click Tools> Options.

In the options menu, select "Messages". At the third level of the window is the "History of the conversations" You can then uncheck the box for the preservation of the history.
