Recreating the boot.ini file to launch







This tips is designed to show you how to recreate the boot.ini file:

Insert the windows CD installation and restart your computer. If the CD does not boot automatically press F12 to boot your PC and select the CD drive.


Press Enter as instructed by the message.

Wait for the loading installation and press R.

A list of Windows already installed is displayed, choose the number that corresponds to the system you want to repair (usually it is 1)

Enter the administrator password. If there is none, leave blank and press Enter.

In the command prompt, and write the following:
fixmbr, then press the "Enter" to confirm.
Then, fixboot c: (system repairs the startup partition pure bone) still enter to confirm.
Then bootcfg / rebuild (it rebuilt the startup file),press Enter.
And finally, we can do bootcfg / list (to view the file rebuilt) with the Enter key
