RSS feeds

A blog interactivity is based on the principle of syndication, which is formatted in RSS feeds. The RSS (Really Simple Syndication, or Rich Site Summary), also known as RSS thread, points out the XML file a format ,a language using tag like HTML, but customizable. XML facilitates the exchange of data between heterogeneous systems, such as databases.

When you write a post on your blog, its content (title, date of publication ...) is saved in XML format, which can display the flux outside of a web page, for example on a widget.
The "Subscribe to this blog enable the user to avoid consulting it at regular intervals: it is notified by the RSS aggregator.
