WEP encryption are common for restricting unauthorized persons for using and crypting your Wifi Access Point.


There are many tools created for searching WEP encryption key in a few seconds even with keys of 128 bits.


The latest attacks can find the key with just 85,000 captured packets (which is ridiculously low).

It is recommended to use equipment supporting WiFi standard WPA2 or use a VPN like open OpenVPN.
