Blank Page: Unable to connect to Hotmail
If you are having a blank page each time you are trying to get connected to hotmail, try the following:
1. Account name and Password
Ensure that you have entered the correct account name (e.g. johnsmith@hotmail.com) and password. (Don’t forget that the password field is case sensitive).
2. Browser settings set to enable cookies.
To configure your browser to allow cookies, open your browser window, go for “Tools” and select “Internet Options”. In the “Security” tab, select a moderate security level for the internet zone.
3. SSL configurations
SSL is an acronym for Secure Sockets Layer. It is a protocol built up by Netscape used to send out private documents through the internet. Configure your Cipher Strength
1. Open your Internet Explorer window and click “Help about Internet Explorer”.
2. Your Cipher Strength should be set to 128 bit. Somehow, if is less than 128, you should install the Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack by downloading it from that link:

Enable SSL and TLS
1. Go to “Tool” in your Internet Explorer window and select “Internet Options”.
2. In the “Advanced” tab, scroll down to the SSL and TLS options.
3. Check these two options and click “Apply”.
Clear History and delete Cookies
When you will delete your cookies, this might also delete some saved passwords on your system.
1. Go to “Tool” in your Internet Explorer window and select “Internet Options”.
2. In the “General” tab, select “Delete Cookies”, “Delete Files” in the “Temporary Internet Files” section
3. Select “Clear History” options in the “History” section.
Disable Third Party Browser Extensions
1. Go to “Tool” in your Internet Explorer window and select “Internet Options”.
2. In the “Advanced” tab, uncheck the box labeled “Enable Third party Browser Extensions” and “Apply”
3. Close your browser and open it again
Configuration of Security settings for Trusted sites zone
1. Go to “Tool” in your Internet Explorer window and select “Internet Options”.
2. In the “Security” tab, choose Trusted Sites.
3. Click “Sites” and enter the URL of the site in the field labeled “Add this Web site to the Zone”
4. Click “Add”, “Ok” and “Apply”
Configuration of your Firewall Settings
To check your Firewall configuration, your SSL port must be open on your network/firewall settings.
Clear SSL Slate
To clear the SSL slate:
1. Select “Tools” on your menu bar and open your “Internet Options”
2. Go for the “Content” tab and select “Certificates”
3. Click “Clear SSL State” and “Ok”.
4. You should receive a message to confirm that it has been cleared.
You can also set your History to “AutoComplete” by:
1. Click “AutoComplete” listed under Personal Information
2. Select “Clear Forms” found under Clear AutoComplete history and click “OK” to confirm the changes.
Choosing a different browser
