Internet access not functioning







1. Recovery of connection settings


To diagnose the problem, type the following command under Start / Run: 
cmd / k ipconfig / all



Check whether an IP address is assigned. If yes, proceed to Step 2. Otherwise type the following command, and again Step 1: 

cmd / k ipconfig / renew

If it still does not work, then the Internet connection is not established. The problem may be the drivers, an isp problem or a hardware problem.

2. Verifying Connectivity


In the results of (1), retrieve the IP address of the default gateway and DNS servers, and then type the following: 
ping-t adresse_ip_passerelle


If this does not, then the problem comes from the bridge.
Then type: 

ping-t adress_ip_dns


If this does not work, then the problem may be the name servers.

3. Verifying name resolution


Finally type:
ping www.google.com

If this does not work, this is a name resolution either due to a bad configuration of the server name problem with the service provider, or a problem with yourfirewall.

4. Verification of applications


The aim is to check various applications using the Net to check if the problem comes from the software:
  • browser
  • email
  • etc..

5. Recover its connection after infection


After being infected with some spyware, you may have lost your Internet connection.
