Forcing Internet Explorer 7 to open pages in a new tab









Issue


When surfing through Internet Explorer 7, you notice that all pages are opened by default in a new window.

Solution

  • Below is a proposed solution of how to force all pages in a new tab.
  • Go to menu bar and select Tools

  • Select Internet Options

  • In the General tab, under Tabs , click Settings.
  • In the window that opens, selectAlways open pop-ups in a new tab

  • Click OK to save the change.
