Uninstall Windows Media Player 11

Go to menu Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.

Scroll to Windows Media Player 11 and select Remove.

Restart your Computer to save all settings.

Another option is to restore your computer a date before your update to recover the previous version but you may however lose new installed files.
