[ShellExView] Customizing your menu

ShellExView is a small program that allows you to enable or disable entries menus. This is very useful if you have any problems with the right-click (for example, your PC crashes when you right-click on a file type).
You can even use it to make the contextual menus simpler by eliminating unnecessary entries.

Getting started
  • Extension Names: The name of the entry, it usually contains the name of the application that fits in the menu.
  • Disabled: displays the status of the entry.
  • File Extensions: Extensions (or item type: file, folder, a system ... etc) for which the entry is valid.
  • Type: The type of entry. They are essentially:
    • Context Menu: contextual menus for files and directories.

You can also use the search function of the software (Edit> Find) to find an entry quickly.
  • Select one or more entries (use the CTRL).
    • To disable an entry, right-click it and select Disable Selected Items.
    • To activate an entry, right-click it and select Enable Selected Items.
