Change the default installation folder C: \ Program Files
The installation of most software programs are set by default in the
C: \ Program Files. Below is a means of how to change into another partition.
Under Windows Vista, select
"Run" from the Start menu.
Click
Start> Run (or
Windows key + R)
Type regedit and click OK.
Scroll to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion
On the right window, double click on the key ProgramFilesDir and modify data in this key by the new path for the installation folder.
For example, enter the path
D: \ Program Files, to change the partition on which the facilities are.
