Disable CD-ROM autorun






AutoRun is the program that enables automatic launching of the CD-ROM. Below is a tips of how to disable the AutoRun.

You just have to modify the specific key in the registry.

Go to Start Menu and select Run.

Then type regedit and scroll to the following key:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/CDRom

To disactivate autorun:
Autorun = 0
To activate autorun :
Autorun = 1
