Export display with xdmcp





Gnome environment


Edit the file "/ etc / gdm / gdm.confand set the " Enable = true" in "[xdmcp]"

Restart GDM 



/etc/init.d/gdm restart


Puis on the client launch the command:

X: 1-query your_server

KDE Environnement



Edit the file "/ etc / kde / kdm / kdmrc"</ital> and set the "Enable = true" in the "[xdmcp]"
Restart KDM

/etc/init.d/dm restart

From the client, launch the command

X :1 -query your_server
