Using Scribus under Mandriva
Scribus is a desktop publishing software. It is ideal to make small comics, or even a full magazine ( Its powerful, intuitive, and suits for both business and for personal use.)

Installation
To install this package on Mandriva, you can do this in two ways:
Open a terminal, type su to go to
ROOT then
urpmi scribus..
Or if you want to use the graphical package manager. Go to the
CCM, then the manager software, select Install / Uninstall. Use the search bar to find Scribus, then select it and click Apply.
Making use of Scribus
Scribus is easy to use. Open it, it is normally in Start/Desktop under KDE or Applications/Office under GNOME.
When launched for the first time, it may take some time to load,but once it is loaded, just choose the format you want to use and start working.
Scribus features:
- Supports Unicode text and fonts
- Support the use of Frames, visible and hidden with support for rounded edges and corners for text and objects, rotatable and scalable
- Creation of CMYK and RGB color PostScript separations.
- PDF and interactive PDF forms creation.
- Scribus supports the use of common text formats including OASIS and MS Word docs
