Disable alert -Low Disk Space









Whenever the free space on your partitions becomes very low, a notification in form of pop up might regularly appears on windows taskbar. Below is a tips of how to disable this alert.
  • Make a back up of the registry.
  • Open the registry (<gras>Start > Run </gras>and type regedit).
  • Go the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
  • Right click in the right part of the window and select New and scroll to DWORD value.
  • Name the value as NoLowDiskSpaceChecks


  • Put 1 in the data field.
  • From there it should be OK.
