MSIMN caused an invalid page fault DS module Directdb.dll






During the launch of Outlook Express, the following error message appears on your screen:

MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module Directdb.dll

File Error Folders.dbx


This problem may be due to corruption of Folders.dbx or file missing.

Solution


Restore the file Folders.dbx.

Locate the file Folders.dbx through the search tool of Windows (Start / Search / Files or Folders).

Rename the file to make a backup, for example Folders.bak.

Launch Outlook Express. The Folders.dbx file will automatically be recreated and the application opens correctly.

Error file Messages.ods


This error may be due to a different location of the file Messages.ods compared to that specified in the registry.

Solution


Locate the file and Messages.odb *. dbx files with the search tool of Windows (Start / search / Files or Folders / "*. dbx Messages.ods").

Move the file Messages.ods in the same directory as the extension *. dbx

Open the registry (Start / Run / regedit) and select the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Identities/{clsid}/Software/Microsoft/Outlook Express/5.0

Delete the key"convertedToDBX"

Restart your computer to save all settings.
