Restrict acces to MSN






This tips is designated for showing you how to restrict access to MSN with the firewall Kerio.

Installation


Note: it is highly recommended to use only one firewall. If you have a personal firewall, disable the windows firewall to avoid conflicts.

When Kerio is installed, you can just look in the configuration of it by right-clicking on the icon of a shield (located at the bottom right of your screen) and open the "configuration".

Then install Kerio firewall
Once installation complete, right click on the small kerio icon that appears on your taskbar. Then select configuration > network security> applications. In the open window, all the application on your computer will be displayed.

Under “internet” > “Outgoing”, click on “refuse” for messenger and select “Apply”.


You can try to connect to MSN and as expected, you will receive an error message.
