Restrict Messenger start up without password

First of all, exit on Windows Messenger by right click on small icon and select “Exit”.

Open Windows Live Messenger and uncheck the box “Remember my password”.
In the menu MSN, select “Tools” > “Options” and unchecked the boxes for ‘Connection’

If your Passeport.net account is registered in Windows, you should however cancel same as it allows the launch of your Messenger session without a password.

Go to menu “Start” and select “Control Panel”.
Click on “User Accounts” and click on your account.
Then under “Related task”, select “Manage my network passwords”.
Then select “Remove” and finally click on “Close”.
