Synchronise iphone contact with outlook

When you try to sync contacts, email and / or timing of your iPhone / iPod touch on a PC with Outlook, iTunes displays the following error message:
When trying to synchronnise your contacts (email, phone etc) with your outlook, iTunes displays an error message which unable the synchronize operation.

Solution

Set Outlook as default program
Open Microsoft Outlook
Click on Tools >Options and click on “Others”
Check the box “Set Outlook as default program for messaging, contacts and calendars”Click on OK


To resolve this problem, you must access the system

For Microsoft Vista

Go to menu start and select “Set program and access defaults”
Select “Set program and access defaults”
In the left window part, select Microsoft Outlook and right click “Set this program as default program”
Close the window and click on OK.

For Windows XP

Click on the Start menu and choose “Set Program Access and Defaults”,
In the left pane, select “Set Program Access and Defaults” and Select Custom
Then Choose a default mail program, choose your Outlook messaging

Configure iTunes

Once you are set with the configuration, open iTunes, proceed with the following:
• Click on “iPhone” in the left menu
• In the right window, select the "News"
• Then, select items to synchronize
