[Firefox] All downloads are being erased

Issue

For several days I have noticed that everything that I've been downloading from the internet is automatically cleared out. I guessed it has been the work of a virus but my antivirus does not detect anything (AVG), what can be done?

Solution

• An inconsistency occurs between the scan of FireFox and you have antivirus installed. To fix it:
• Open a Firefox and in the address bar type:
  • about:config
• Then, in "Filter" looking for the following entry:
  • browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone
• Double click on it to set the value to false.

• This should solve your download issues.
