Secure search bar (anti-phishing, anti-pub ...)

They are several search bars (toolbar) that allows you to avoid some fraudulent sites, ads, get info on the sites ...Even if your antivirus is already running in the background,protecting you while you're on the internet, making use of such toolbars, can be interesting for you to know the country of origin of site, date of creation of the site ...

Here below is a list of some of the secure search bars, but note that, it is not required to install all of them at the same time.

WOT

WOT is an extension compatible with Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

Each time you do a search or check a website, WOT shows you whether the site is reliable or not.

Netcraft

• It helps to fight against phishing attacks, that encourage the user to transmit confidential data (banking, auctions, webmail, etc..). the invitation is most often through emails....
• This particular search bar will use the Netcraft database to provide a lot of useful information to identify sites: the organization that owns the IP address, or the date of creation, ...
• If the "risk rating" gauge tends to fill in red, then you should pay attention!

Trend Protect
