Install a font in Windows 7

Introduction

To install a font downloaded under Windows 7 there are several methods. Indeed you can either install the font manually by placing the .ttf file in Windows folder named "fonts" and launch the automatic installation.

First Method

• Download the desired font from dafont or others legal website.
• Unzip it.
• Put the .TTF file in the Windows directory(Fonts):
• C:\\Windows\Fonts .

Second Method

• Download font.
• Unzip it.
• Double click on the .TTF file.
• Click the Install button.

Third Method

• Download font.
• Unzip.
• Then, go in
• "Control Panel"
• "Appearance and Theme"
• "Font"
• Add the .TTF file in the Font folder.

Fourth method

• Extract the.TTF file to archive using WinRAR or 7zip.
• Right click on the .TTF file.
• In the context menu choose Install.
