Epson Stylus SX215 - Changing the cartridge

The best way to know when to change the printer cartridge is to let the printer prompt you to do so. Changing the cartridge of the Epson Stylus printer is a simple task. At times, the cartridge may not be centralized and it may be difficult to access the hardware to change it. Some printers centralize the carriage holder holding the cartridge, when the top of the printer is opened. The carriage holder can be centralized to facilitate thechanging of the cartridge of the Epson Stylus printer. From the printers menu, it is possible to select the mode as maintenance and choose the option of changing the ink cartridge.

Issue

At some point you will need to change the ink cartridge in your Epson Stylus SX215 printer.

Solution

To do this:

• Go to Menu > Setup mode
• Select "Maintenance" and "change ink cartridge"

This will move the ink cartridge so that you can access it and change it.
