Computers based on Windows platforms may show many errors that can cause hindrance to the seamless user experience. While using office software MS Word or MS Excel, users may face an error message like 'SKU011.CAB missing'. Even if there is no installation CD, this problem can be solved. One can tackle the problem by accessing the directory i.e. the Downloaded Code under Delivery with the help of regedit, under the Run command.

Issue

When opening MS Word or MS Excel, you are faced with the following error message:

SKU011.CAB missing

The installation CD is not available.

Solution

To solve this problem:

• Go to Regedit (start menu -> run -> type regedit)
• Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> 11.0 -> Delivery
• There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (E.g 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0.
