Google Earth is a great software to locate yourself in a city, as it offers an accurate GPS system. To use this feature, you must enter the geographic coordinates which includes the longitude, latitude and compass points.
To use this feature:
  • We can use the example given by Microsoft to test how this feature works.
  • Copy the following GPS coordinates in the search field and press Enter:
    • 47°38'20.98" N 122°07'42.01" W
  • Google Earth will point to the Microsoft headquarters.
