Skype for Windows 8 - The new features

Microsoft has unveiled a video presentation the new version of Skype for Windows 8 OS platforms. It will be based on a completely redesigned interface that will provide optimal use on different type terminals (PC and tablets)
Dynamic thumbnails
Among the new features: Dynamic thumbnails. "As soon as you download Skype for Windows 8 from Windows Store, the Skype thumbnail appears willbe displayed on the Home screen of Windows 8 and will serve as an access point to launch Skype. After the first connection, this vignette is dynamic and allows the user to check his calls and messages".
Simpler contact management and a redesigned keyboard
Contact management and follow-up of the latest messages and calls: have been simplified "When Skype starts, your latest messages and recent calls will be displayed, right next to the people you contact the most often".
A new redesigned keyboard simplifies the "call to landlines or mobile." Management of Skype Credit, current subscriptions and complete list of recent calls, are also available via a single page".
