LinkedIn: Targeted status updates now available on business pages
LinkedIn has deployed a new feature for the animation pages of companies: tested since last April, "Targeted Status Updates" is now available for over two million businesses registered on LinkedIn. This allows administrators to share their status with followers in more personalized way, to improve the level of engagement to their page.
This new feature will allow firms from the social network to reach their followers in a more qualitative way, specifically targeting the recipients based on the statutes they share.
Several targeting criteria are available:
- Several targeting criteria are available: company size, industry, position, experience, geographic location.
- This new feature aims to enable businesses to improve their business page, the rate of commitment of their followers (eg comments in response to a shared status, sharing of news, likes)
- It is accompanied by a new statistical tool, which provides access to various information concerning the profile of fans, such as demographics.
