Vanity URLs now available on Google +
The Vanity URLs are making their way on the popular social network Google +!These shortened and fully customizable URLs , are particularly useful for SEO.
- Goolges says "For now, we will limit the creation of custom URLs to a limited number of user profiles and pages on Google +, but we will make this feature available gradually to all brands and users of the social network".
- But for now Goolgle didn't provided any details on availability of this feature for normal user.
- Until now, Google automatically generates the URLs of pages for each Google accounts using a sequence of numbers: https://plus.google.com/118207880179234484610
- The custom URLs Google will be more like this one :http://google.com/+delta
- The "vanity URLs" have long been available on LinkedIn and Facebook, to allow brands to improve the SEO of their profiles and pages, and thus consolidating their digital strategy.
