It is necessary to
save or import messenger contacts to make a backup of the contacts list. Making a backup makes it easier to
transfer messenger contacts from one
instant messaging software account to another. In
MSN messenger, the messaging contacts list can be saved on the hard disk. To
import the messenger contact list into the new user account, simply import the saved contact list on the computer to the new messenger account through the MSN messenger application. Although it is an uncommon phenomenon on the
internet, crashes can occur and therefore it is better to
save or import messenger contacts to prevent loss of data.
Save/Import your Messenger contacts

- A warning message will pop up.
- Click with "Yes".
