The final version of Ubuntu LTS v.12.04 is now available


Ubuntu recently announced the launch of the final version of its OS, codenamed V.12.04 LTS. This new version focuses primarily on improving the usability of Ubuntu. The Unity interface has been improved.

A new menu management


Ergonomics has also been improved thanks to the HUD - Head-up display - the new menu management on Ubuntu. You simply have to press the ALT key and type the first letters of the program sought to gain access.

Ubuntu has also improved the recognition and installation device/peripherals. THeLinux kernel was updated to version 3.2 which provides better compatibility with hardware. This version uses less power than its predecessor and is therefore accountable to the portable devices.

Other improvements have been made also on the management of Cloud services, language packs are automatically downloaded and trackpad response has been improved.
