Windows XP- Unable to view JPG images

Issue

I'm no longer able to view JPG files on my PC.

Solution

From Windows Explorer, go to Tools, Folder Options, View, Uncheck the last box called Use simple file sharing.
Then go to the directory where your images are. Right-Click ; Properties; Security tab, select your name from the list of users; Check replace owner; Ok, Yes;

• In Permissions, select Read and execution; Ok
• And now everything will work normally.
