Uninstall Outlook Express

Outlook Express is the mail client provided with Microsoft Windows and it is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs feature like other programs.

Via the Run tab

• Go to the Start menu and select Run
• Enter the following command:

  C: Program FilesOutlook Expresssetup50.exe / APP: OE UNINSTALL / PROMPT

• Click OK
• This process will uninstall Outlook Express from your computer.

From Add / Remove Windows Components feature

• Open the Control Panel
• Choose Add / Remove Programs
• Click on Add / Remove Windows Components on the left in the open window, not in the list
• Uncheck Outlook Express and click Next
• This will launch the uninstallation process for Outlook Express
